This charming set of five small mamezara plates features a graceful pattern of springtime ginkgo leaves. Made from the renowned white porcelain of Arita, Japan, these pieces showcase the area's signature craftsmanship. Despite being incredibly lightweight and thin, Arita-yaki pottery is known for its remarkable durability, as demonstrated by these plates.
The set is in excellent condition, and based on the sticker on one of the plates, it may have never been used or was only partially used. The sturdy cardboard box is in fair condition (see photo).
